8 So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people+ and said: “This is the blood of the covenant that Jehovah has made with you in harmony with all these words.”+

13 And he declared his covenant to you,+ which he commanded you to observe​—⁠the Ten Commandments.*+ Afterward, he wrote them on two tablets of stone.+
