Many who believe in God, like to feel closer to him. Did you know that the Bible actually invites us to draw closer to God?

It says, “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.”

So, according to the first part of this verse, God wants us to do what?

It says ‘draw close to God’.

That’s right, and if we make the effort to do that, what will God do in return? Did you notice what the second part says?

“he will draw close to you”

That’s so touching isn’t it? Really by giving us this invitation, God it telling us that he wants us to be close to him.

Well, the Bible speaks of death as an enemy that God’s Kingdom will eliminate. Notice what it says here at 1Corinthians 15:26: “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” So, what do you think about that verse?
