7 Jehovah now appeared to Aʹbram and said: “To your seed+ I am going to give this land.”+ After that he built an altar there to Jehovah, who had appeared to him.

6 And he put faith* in Jehovah;+ and he proceeded to count it to him as righteousness.+

3 Reside as an alien in this land,+ and I shall continue with you and bless you, because to you and to your seed I shall give all these lands,+ and I will carry out the sworn statement that I swore to Abraham your father,+

9 By faith he resided as an alien in the land of the promise as in a foreign land,+ and dwelt in tents+ with Isaac+ and Jacob,+ the heirs with him of the very same promise.+
