3 “‘If his offering is a burnt offering*+ from the herd, a male, a sound one,+ is what he should present. At the entrance of the tent of meeting he should present it of his own free will before Jehovah.+
10 And the other one he will handle as a burnt offering according to the regular procedure;+ and the priest must make an atonement+ for him for his sin that he has committed, and so it must be forgiven him.+
9 “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the burnt offering:+ The burnt offering will be on the hearth upon the altar all night long until the morning, and the fire of the altar will be kindled in it.
