3 “‘If his offering is a burnt offering*+ from the herd, a male, a sound one,+ is what he should present. At the entrance of the tent of meeting he should present it of his own free will before Jehovah.+

6 “Now these are the commandment, the regulations and the judicial decisions that Jehovah YOUR God has commanded to teach YOU,+ so as to do them in the land to which YOU are passing over there to take possession of it;

21 In case the place that Jehovah your God will choose to put his name+ there should be far away from you, you must then slaughter some of your herd or some of your flock that Jehovah has given you, just as I have commanded you, and you must eat inside your gates whenever your soul craves it.+
