22 Then the sons of Israel pulled away and encamped on the desert plains of Moʹab+ across the Jordan from Jerʹi·cho.

2 In time it was said to the king of Jerʹi·cho: “Look! Men from the sons of Israel have come in here tonight to search out the land.”

30 By faith the walls of Jerʹi·cho fell down after they had been encircled* for seven days.+
