6 Then Moses sent them out, a thousand of each tribe, to the army, them and Phinʹe·has+ the son of El·e·aʹzar the priest to the army, and the holy utensils and the trumpets+ for blowing calls were in his hand.

28 Now Phinʹe·has+ the son of El·e·aʹzar, the son of Aaron, was standing before it in those days,+ saying: “Shall I go out yet again to battle against the sons of Benjamin my brother or shall I cease to?”+ To this Jehovah said: “Go up, because tomorrow I shall give him into your hand.”+

7 Hence David said to A·biʹa·thar+ the priest, the son of A·himʹe·lech: “Do, please, bring the ephʹod+ near to me.” And A·biʹa·thar came bringing the ephʹod near to David.

12 And, look! with us there is at the head the [true] God+ with his priests+ and the signal trumpets+ for sounding the battle alarm against YOU. O sons of Israel, do not fight against Jehovah the God of YOUR forefathers,+ for YOU will not prove successful.”+
