6 but exercising loving-kindness* toward the thousandth generation* in the case of those who love me and keep my commandments.*+

3 And you must keep the obligation to Jehovah your God by walking in his ways,+ by keeping his statutes, his commandments and his judicial decisions+ and his testimonies,* according to what is written in the law of Moses,+ in order that you may act prudently in everything that you do and everywhere that you turn;

17 He said to him: “Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is that is good.+ If, though, you want to enter into life, observe the commandments continually.”+

3 For this is what the love+ of God means, that we observe his commandments;+ and yet his commandments are not burdensome,+
