18 to Abraham as his purchased property before the eyes of the sons of Heth among all those entering the gate of his city.+

15 “No single witness should rise up against a man respecting any error or any sin,+ in the case of any sin that he may commit. At the mouth of two witnesses or at the mouth of three witnesses the matter should stand good.+

4 As for me, I thought* that I should disclose it to you,* saying, ‘Buy it+ in front of the inhabitants and the older men of my people.+ If you will repurchase it, repurchase it; but if you will not repurchase it, do tell me, that I may know, for there is no one else but you to do the repurchasing,+ and I am next to you.’” At that he said: “I shall be the one to repurchase it.”+

12 and I then gave the deed of purchase to Barʹuch+ the son of Ne·riʹah+ the son of Mah·seiʹah before the eyes of Hanʹa·mel [the son of] my paternal uncle and before the eyes of the witnesses, those writing in the deed of purchase,+ before the eyes of all the Jews who were sitting in the Courtyard of the Guard.+
