26 and Mizʹpeh+ and Che·phiʹrah+ and Moʹzah,

20 Consequently all the sons of Israel went out+ and the assembly congregated themselves as one man,+ from Dan+ down to Beʹer-sheʹba*+ along with the land of Gilʹe·ad,+ to Jehovah at Mizʹpah.+

21 Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizʹpah,+ saying: “Not a man of us will give his daughter to Benjamin as a wife.”+

17 And Samuel proceeded to call the people together to Jehovah at Mizʹpah+

22 And King Aʹsa, for his part, summoned all Judah+—there was none exempt—and they proceeded to carry the stones of Raʹmah and the timbers of it, with which Baʹa·sha had been building; and King Aʹsa began to build with them Geʹba+ in Benjamin, and Mizʹpah.+

23 When all the chiefs of the military forces,+ they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Ged·a·liʹah, they immediately came to Ged·a·liʹah at Mizʹpah,+ that is, Ishʹma·el the son of Neth·a·niʹah and Jo·haʹnan the son of Ka·reʹah and Se·raiʹah the son of Tan·huʹmeth the Ne·tophʹa·thite and Ja·az·a·niʹah* the son of the Ma·acʹa·thite, they and their men.

6 Accordingly Jeremiah came to Ged·a·liʹah+ the son of A·hiʹkam at Mizʹpah+ and took up dwelling with him in the midst of the people who were left remaining in the land.
