20 Now there happened to be there a good-for-nothing man,*+ whose name was Sheʹba,+ the son of Bichʹri a Benʹja·min·ite; and he proceeded to blow the horn+ and say: “We have no share in David, and we have no inheritance in the son of Jesʹse.+ Every one to his gods,*+ O Israel!”

7 And idle men,+ good-for-nothing fellows,+ kept collecting themselves together by him. Finally they proved superior to Re·ho·boʹam the son of Solʹo·mon, when Re·ho·boʹam+ himself happened to be young and fainthearted,+ and he did not hold his own against them.

15 “Look! Upon the mountains the feet of one bringing good news,* one publishing peace.+ O Judah, celebrate your festivals.+ Pay your vows;+ because no more will any good-for-nothing person* pass again through you.+ In his entirety he will certainly be cut off.”*+
