51 And David continued running and got to stand over the Phi·lisʹtine. Then he took his sword+ and pulled it out of its sheath and definitely put him to death when he cut his head off with it.+ And the Phi·lisʹtines got to see that their mighty one had died, and they took to flight.+

9 And they proceeded to cut off his head+ and strip off his armor and send into the land of the Phi·lisʹtines all around to inform+ the houses of their idols+ and the people.

7 And it came about that as soon as the letter came to them, they went taking the sons of the king and slaughtering [them], seventy men,+ after which they put their heads in baskets and sent them to him at Jezʹre·el.
