28 For all the household of my father would have become nothing but doomed to death* to my lord the king, and yet you placed your servant among those eating at your table.+ So what do I still have as a just claim even for crying+ out further to the king?”

7 “And toward the sons of Bar·zilʹlai+ the Gilʹe·ad·ite you should exercise loving-kindness,* and they must prove to be among those eating at your table;+ for that was the way they drew near+ to me when I ran away from before Abʹsa·lom your brother.+

25 The generous soul* will itself be made fat,+ and the one freely watering [others] will himself also be freely watered.+

8 As regards the generous one, it is for generous things that he has given counsel; and in favor of generous things he himself will rise up.+
