24 And he proceeded to buy the mountain of Sa·marʹi·a* from Sheʹmer for two talents* of silver, and began to build [on] the mountain and call the name of the city that he built by the name of Sheʹmer the master* of the mountain, Sa·marʹi·a.+

10 Ben-haʹdad now sent to him and said: “So may the gods+ do to me, and so may they add to it,+ if the dust of Sa·marʹi·a will be sufficient for handfuls for all the people that follow me!”*+
