2 Twenty years old was Aʹhaz when he began to reign, and for sixteen years he reigned in Jerusalem; and he did not do what was right in the eyes of Jehovah his God like David his forefather.+

20 Finally Aʹhaz lay down with his forefathers and was buried with his forefathers in the City of David;+ and Hez·e·kiʹah*+ his son began to reign in place of him.
