19 Further, he called the name of that place Bethʹel;*+ but the fact is, Luz was the city’s name formerly.+

29 Then he placed the one in Bethʹel,+ and the other he put in Dan.+

13 And here there was a man+ of God* that had come out of Judah by the word+ of Jehovah to Bethʹel, while Jer·o·boʹam was standing by the altar+ to make sacrificial smoke.+

23 And he proceeded to go up from there to Bethʹel.+ As he was going up on the way, there were small boys+ that came out from the city and began to jeer+ him and that kept saying to him: “Go up, you baldhead!+ Go up, you baldhead!”
