13 Has not my lord been told what I did when Jezʹe·bel killed the prophets of Jehovah, how I kept some of the prophets of Jehovah hid, a hundred men by fifties in a cave,+ and kept supplying them bread and water?+

35 And a certain man of the sons of the prophets*+ said to his friend by the word+ of Jehovah: “Strike me, please.” But the man refused to strike him.

4 Now there was a certain woman of the wives of the sons+ of the prophets that cried out to E·liʹsha, saying: “Your servant, my husband, is dead; and you yourself well know that your own servant had continually feared+ Jehovah, and the creditor+ himself has come to take both my children for his slaves.”
