51 Finally all the work that King Solʹo·mon had to do as regards the house of Jehovah was at its completion;+ and Solʹo·mon began to bring in the things made holy by David his father;+ the silver and the gold and the articles he put in the treasures of the house of Jehovah.+

18 At that Aʹsa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of Jehovah and the treasures of the house of the king and put them in the hand of his servants; and King Aʹsa now sent them to Ben-haʹdad+ the son of Tab·rimʹmon the son of Heʹzi·on, the king of Syria,+ who was dwelling in Damascus,+ saying:

15 And the chief of the bodyguard took the fire holders and the bowls that were of genuine gold+ and those that were of genuine silver.+

9 So Shiʹshak+ the king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem and took the treasures of the house of Jehovah+ and the treasures of the king’s house.+ Everything he took; and so he took the gold shields that Solʹo·mon had made.+
