21 Promptly Moses called all the older men of Israel+ and said to them: “Draw out and take for yourselves small cattle* according to YOUR families, and slaughter the passover victim.+

15 After that they slaughtered the passover+ victim on the fourteenth [day] of the second month; and the priests and the Levites themselves had been humiliated, so that they sanctified+ themselves and brought burnt offerings to the house of Jehovah.
