5 “Go back, and you must say to Hez·e·kiʹah the leader+ of my people, ‘This is what Jehovah the God+ of David your forefather has said: “I have heard+ your prayer.+ I have seen your tears.+ Here I am healing+ you.+ On the third day you will go up to the house of Jehovah.+

13 However, the angel said to him: “Have no fear, Zech·a·riʹah, because your supplication has been favorably heard,+ and your wife Elizabeth will become mother to a son to you, and you are to call his name John.*+

31 and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been favorably heard and your gifts of mercy have been remembered before God.+

12 For [the] eyes+ of Jehovah* are upon the righteous ones, and his ears are toward their supplication;+ but [the] face of Jehovah* is against those doing bad things.”+
