16 Your words were found, and I proceeded to eat them;+ and your word becomes to me the exultation+ and the rejoicing of my heart;+ for your name has been called upon me,+ O Jehovah God of armies.+

4 “And he will certainly stand and do shepherding in the strength of Jehovah,*+ in the superiority of the name of Jehovah* his God.+ And they will certainly keep dwelling,+ for now he will be great as far as the ends* of the earth.+

2 “This is what Jehovah of armies*+ has said, ‘As regards this people, they have said: “The time has not come, the time of the house of Jehovah, for [it] to be built.”’”+

13 And Hagʹgai the messenger*+ of Jehovah went on to say to the people according to the messenger’s commission from Jehovah,+ saying: “‘I am with YOU people,’+ is the utterance of Jehovah.”

3 “And you must say to them, ‘This is what Jehovah of armies* has said: “‘Return to me,’+ is the utterance of Jehovah* of armies, ‘and I shall return to YOU,’+ Jehovah* of armies has said.”’

8 And the word of Jehovah of armies continued to occur, saying:
