13 Only it will not be all the kingdom that I shall rip away.+ One tribe I shall give to your son, for the sake of David my servant+ and for the sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen.”+

24 “There are seventy weeks* that have been determined* upon your people+ and upon your holy city,+ in order to terminate the transgression,+ and to finish off sin,+ and to make atonement* for error,+ and to bring in righteousness for times indefinite,+ and to imprint a seal+ upon* vision and prophet,* and to anoint the Holy of Holies.*+

17 And YOU people will have to know that I am Jehovah YOUR God,+ residing in Zion my holy mountain.+ And Jerusalem must become a holy place;+ and as regards strangers, they will no more pass through her.+
