7 And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust*+ from the ground+ and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life,*+ and the man came to be a living soul.*+

11 For the soul of the flesh is in the blood,+ and I myself have put it upon the altar for YOU to make atonement+ for YOUR souls, because it is the blood+ that makes atonement+ by the soul [in it].*

3 At this Esther the queen answered and said: “If I have found favor in your eyes, O king, and if to the king it does seem good, let there be given me my own soul*+ at my petition and my people+ at my request.
