26 Finally Jehovah said to Moses: “Stretch your hand out over the sea,+ that the waters may come back over the Egyptians, their war chariots and their cavalrymen.”

7 And the Egyptians are mere vanity, and they will help simply for nothing.+ Therefore I have called this one:* “Raʹhab+—they are for sitting still.”

9 Awake, awake, clothe yourself with strength,+ O arm of Jehovah!+ Awake as in the days of long ago, as during the generations of times long past.+ Are you* not the one that broke Raʹhab*+ to pieces, that pierced the sea monster?*+
