16 And God proceeded to make* the two great luminaries, the greater luminary for dominating the day and the lesser luminary for dominating the night, and also the stars.+

35 This is what Jehovah, the Giver of the sun for light by day,+ the statutes+ of* the moon+ and the stars for light by night,+ the One stirring up the sea that its waves may become boisterous,+ the One whose name is Jehovah of armies,+ has said:

41 The glory of the sun+ is one sort, and the glory of the moon+ is another, and the glory of the stars+ is another; in fact, star differs from star in glory.
