13 But it will not turn out well at all with the wicked one,+ neither will he prolong his days that are like a shadow,+ because he is not in fear of God.+

3 This is what is calamitous in all that has been done under the sun, that, because there is one eventuality to all,+ the heart of the sons of men is also full of bad;+ and there is madness+ in their heart during their lifetime, and after it—to the dead ones!+

2 in which YOU at one time walked according to the system+ of things* of this world,* according to the ruler+ of the authority of the air, the spirit+ that now operates in the sons of disobedience.+
