9 “‘In case there should be any man who calls down evil upon his father and his mother,+ he should be put to death without fail.+ It is his father and his mother upon whom he has called down evil. His own blood* is upon him.+

16 “‘Cursed is the one who treats his father or his mother with contempt.’+ (And all the people must say, ‘Amen!’)

26 He that is maltreating a father [and] that chases a mother away+ is a son acting shamefully and disgracefully.+

20 As for anyone calling down evil upon his father and his mother,+ his lamp will be extinguished at the approach of darkness.+

11 But YOU men say, ‘If a man says to his father or his mother: “Whatever I have by which you may get benefit from me is corban,*+ (that is, a gift dedicated+ to God,)”’*—
