14 And they kept making their life bitter with hard slavery at clay mortar+ and bricks* and with every form of slavery in the field,+ yes, every form of slavery of theirs in which they used them as slaves under tyranny.+

20 But YOU are the ones Jehovah took that he might bring YOU out of the iron furnace,+ out of Egypt, to become a people of private ownership* to him+ as at this day.

4 which I commanded YOUR forefathers in the day of my bringing them out of the land of Egypt,+ out of the furnace of iron,+ saying, ‘Obey my voice, and YOU must do things according to all that I command YOU;+ and YOU will certainly become my people and I myself shall become YOUR God,*+
