17 So he brought up against them the king of the Chal·deʹans,+ who proceeded to kill their young men with the sword+ in the house of their sanctuary,+ neither did he feel compassion for young man or virgin, old or decrepit.+ Everything He gave into his hand.

14 But Zion kept saying: “Jehovah has left me,+ and Jehovah* himself has forgotten me.”+

17 “For I shall bring up a recuperation for you, and from your strokes I shall heal you,”+ is the utterance of Jehovah. “For a woman chased away is what they called you:+ ‘That is Zion, for whom no one is searching.’”+

10 “This is what Jehovah has said, ‘In this place that YOU people will be saying is waste without man* and without domestic animal, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolated+ without man and without inhabitant and without domestic animal, there will yet be heard+

27 For it is written: “Be glad, you barren woman who does not give birth; break out and cry aloud, you woman who does not have childbirth pains; for the children of the desolate woman are more numerous than [those] of her who has the husband.”+
