57 And all the evil of the men of Sheʹchem God made come back upon their own heads, that the malediction+ of Joʹtham+ the son of Jer·ub·baʹal+ might come upon them.+

39 And David got to hear that Naʹbal had died, and so he said: “Blessed be Jehovah, who has conducted the legal+ case of my reproach+ [to free me] from Naʹbal’s hand and has kept his servant back from badness,+ and the badness of Naʹbal Jehovah has turned back upon his own head!”+ And David proceeded to send and propose to Abʹi·gail to take her as his wife.+

4 Hear,+ O our God, for we have become an object of contempt;+ and make their reproach+ return upon their own head, and give them to the plunder in the land of captivity.

23 Look! A windstorm of Jehovah, rage itself, has gone forth, an onward-sweeping tempest.*+ Upon the head of the wicked ones it will whirl.+

7 here I am arousing them [to come] from the place where YOU have sold them,+ and I will pay back YOUR treatment upon YOUR own heads.+

15 For the day of Jehovah against all the nations is near.*+ In the way that you have done, it will be done to you.+ Your sort of treatment will return upon your own head.+
