16 “Fathers should not be put to death* on account of children, and children should not be put to death on account of fathers.+ Each one should be put to death* for his own sin.+

11 Woe to the wicked one!—Calamity; for the treatment [rendered] by his own hands will be rendered to him!+

4 Look! All the souls*—to me they belong.+ As the soul+ of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong.+ The soul that is sinning+—it itself will die.*+

7 Do not be misled:+ God is not one to be mocked.+ For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap;+
