15 “And it must occur that if you will not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God by taking care to do all his commandments and his statutes that I am commanding you today, all these maledictions must also come upon you and overtake you:+

27 Then Jehovah’s anger blazed against that land by bringing upon it the whole malediction written in this book.+

15 And it must occur that, just as all the good word that Jehovah YOUR God has spoken to YOU has come upon YOU,+ so Jehovah will bring upon YOU all the evil word until he has annihilated YOU from off this good ground that Jehovah YOUR God has given YOU,+

27 But Jehovah* said: “Judah,+ too, I shall remove from my sight,+ just as I have removed Israel;+ and I shall certainly reject this city that I have chosen, even Jerusalem, and the house of which I have said, ‘My name will continue there.’”+

3 “‘And I will commission over them four families,’+ is the utterance of Jehovah, ‘the sword to kill, and the dogs to drag away, and the flying creatures of the heavens+ and the beasts of the earth to eat and to bring to ruin.

12 Therefore on account of YOU men Zion will be plowed up as a mere field, and Jerusalem herself will become mere heaps of ruins,+ and the mountain of the house will be as the high places of a forest.
