6 Take shelter, O YOU sons of Benjamin, from the midst of Jerusalem; and in Te·koʹa+ blow the horn.*+ And over Beth-hac·cheʹrem+ raise a fire signal; because calamity itself has looked down out of the north, even a great crash.+

22 Listen! A report! Here it* has come, also a great pounding from the land of the north,+ in order to make the cities of Judah a desolate waste, the lair of jackals.+

2 This is what Jehovah has said:

“Look! Waters are coming+ up from the north+ and have become a flooding torrent. And they will flood the land and what fills it, the city and those inhabiting it.+ And the men* will certainly cry out, and everyone dwelling in the land must howl.+

9 For here I am arousing and bringing up against Babylon a congregation of great nations from the land of the north,+ and they will certainly array themselves against her.+ From there she will be captured.+ One’s arrows are like those of a mighty man causing bereavement of children, who does not come back without results.+
