44 And yet for all this, while they continue in the land of their enemies, I shall certainly not reject them+ nor abhor them+ so as to exterminate them, to violate my covenant+ with them; for I am Jehovah their God.

28 As for you, do not be afraid, O my servant Jacob,’ is the utterance of Jehovah, ‘for I am with you.+ For I shall make an extermination among all the nations to which I have dispersed you,+ but with you I shall make no extermination.+ Yet I shall have to chastise you to the proper degree,+ and I shall absolutely not leave you unpunished.’”+

8 “‘Look! The eyes of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah are upon the sinful kingdom,+ and he will certainly annihilate it from upon the surface of the ground.+ Nevertheless, I shall not completely annihilate the house of Jacob,’+ is the utterance of Jehovah.
