24 Because I have called out but YOU keep refusing,+ I have stretched out my hand but there is no one paying attention,+

6 My people will certainly be silenced, because there is no knowledge.+ Because the knowledge is what you yourself have rejected,+ I shall also reject you from serving as a priest to me;+ and [because] you keep forgetting the law of your God,*+ I shall forget your sons, even I.+

28 And just as they did not approve of holding God in accurate knowledge,+ God gave them up to a disapproved mental state,+ to do the things not fitting,+

34 Wake up to soberness+ in a righteous way and do not practice sin, for some are without knowledge of God.+ I am speaking to move YOU to shame.+
