3 And you must send them to the king of Eʹdom+ and to the king of Moʹab+ and to the king of the sons of Amʹmon+ and to the king of Tyre+ and to the king of Siʹdon+ by the hand of the messengers who are coming to Jerusalem to Zed·e·kiʹah* the king of Judah.

29 “‘There is where Eʹdom,+ her kings and all her chieftains are, who, in their mightiness, were put with those slain by the sword;+ they themselves will lie down even with the uncircumcised+ ones and with those going down into [the] pit.

This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said regarding Eʹdom:+ “There is a report that we have heard from Jehovah, and there is an envoy that has been sent among the nations, ‘Rise up, YOU people, and let us rise up against her in battle.’”+
