13 The princes of Zoʹan have acted foolishly,+ the princes of Noph*+ have been deceived, the keymen+ of her tribes have caused Egypt to wander about.

44 The word that occurred to Jeremiah for all the Jews that were dwelling in the land of Egypt,+ the ones dwelling in Migʹdol+ and in Tahʹpan·hes+ and in Noph*+ and in the land of Pathʹros,+ saying:

19 Make for yourself mere baggage for exile,+ O inhabitress, the daughter+ of Egypt. For Noph+ itself will become a mere object of astonishment and will actually be set afire, so as to be without an inhabitant.+

13 “This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, ‘I will also destroy the dungy idols+ and cause the valueless gods to cease out of Noph,*+ and there will no more prove to be a chieftain out of the land of Egypt; and I shall certainly put fear in the land of Egypt.+
