4 and also [for] the innocent blood+ that he had shed, so that he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and Jehovah did not consent to grant forgiveness.+
13 “‘There was loose conduct in your* uncleanness.+ For that reason I had to cleanse you, but you did not become clean from your uncleanness.+ You will become clean no more until I cause my rage to come to its rest in your case.+
12 And he proceeded to carry out his words that he had spoken against us+ and against our judges who judged us,+ by bringing upon us great calamity, such as was not done under the whole heavens as what has been done in Jerusalem.+
