16 “And as for you, O son of man, take for yourself a stick+ and write upon it, ‘For Judah and for the sons of Israel his partners.’*+ And take another stick and write upon it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Eʹphra·im,+ and all the house of Israel his partners.’+

6 And I will make the house of Judah superior, and the house of Joseph I shall save.+ And I will give them a dwelling,* for I will show them mercy;+ and they must become like those whom I had not cast off;+ for I am Jehovah their God,* and I shall answer them.+
