12 That is why this is what Jehovah the God of Israel has said, ‘Here I am bringing a calamity upon Jerusalem+ and Judah, of which if anyone hears both his ears will tingle.+

12 And he proceeded to carry out his words that he had spoken against us+ and against our judges who judged us,+ by bringing upon us great calamity, such as was not done under the whole heavens as what has been done in Jerusalem.+
