22 Finally Jehovah was no longer able to put up with it because of the badness of YOUR dealings, because of the detestable things that YOU had done,+ and so YOUR land came to be a devastated place and an object of astonishment and a malediction, without an inhabitant, as at this day.+

11 “This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, ‘Clap your hands+ and stamp with your foot, and say: “Alas!” on account of all the bad detestable things of the house of Israel,+ because by the sword,+ by the famine+ and by the pestilence they will fall.+

3 Now the end is upon you,*+ and I must send my anger against you, and I will judge you according to your ways+ and bring upon you all your detestable things.

29 And they will have to know that I am Jehovah when I make the land a desolate waste,+ even a desolation, on account of all their detestable things that they have done.”’+
