11 At this I said: “How long, O Jehovah?”*+ Then he said: “Until the cities actually crash in ruins, to be without an inhabitant, and the houses be without earthling man, and the ground itself is ruined into a desolation;+

11 And all this land must become a devastated place, an object of astonishment, and these nations will have to serve the king of Babylon seventy years.”’+

14 And I will stretch out my hand against them+ and make the land a desolate waste, even a desolation worse than the wilderness toward Dibʹlah,* in all their dwelling places. And they will have to know that I am Jehovah.’”
