17 And as for these children, the four of them, to them the [true] God gave knowledge and insight in all writing and wisdom;+ and Daniel himself had understanding in all sorts of visions and dreams.+

23 To you, O God of my forefathers, I am giving praise and commendation,+ because wisdom+ and mightiness you have given to me. And now you have made known to me what we requested of you, for you have made known to us the very matter of the king.”+

9 “‘O Bel·te·shazʹzar the chief of the magic-practicing priests,+ because I myself well know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you+ and that there is no secret* at all that is troubling you,+ tell [me] the visions of my dream that I have beheld and its interpretation.+
