16 And I will constitute your seed like the dust particles of the earth, so that, if a man could be able to count the dust particles of the earth, then your seed could be numbered.+

4 ‘And I will multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens and I will give to your seed all these lands;+ and by means of your seed all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves,’*+

27 Moreover, Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Although the number of the sons of Israel may be as the sand of the sea,+ it is the remnant that will be saved.+

12 Hence also from one [man],+ and him as good as dead,+ there were born [children] just as the stars of heaven for multitude and as the sands that are by the seaside, innumerable.+
