6 I grew indignant at my people.+ I profaned my inheritance,+ and I proceeded to give them into your hand.+ You showed them no mercies.+ Upon the old man you made your yoke very heavy.+

24 And I will pay back to Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chal·deʹa* all their badness that they have committed in Zion before the eyes of YOU people,”+ is the utterance of Jehovah.
