16 “This is what Jehovah has said, ‘Here I am bringing calamity+ upon this place and upon its inhabitants,+ even all the words+ of the book that the king of Judah has read;+

11 At this I said: “How long, O Jehovah?”*+ Then he said: “Until the cities actually crash in ruins, to be without an inhabitant, and the houses be without earthling man, and the ground itself is ruined into a desolation;+

8 Be corrected,+ O Jerusalem, that my soul may not turn away disgusted from you;+ that I may not set you as a desolate waste, a land not inhabited.”+

13 And the land must become a desolate waste on account of its inhabitants, because of the fruit of their dealings.+
