9 and you must go to the priests,+ the Levites, and to the judge+ who will be acting in those days, and you must make inquiry, and they must hand down to you the word of the judicial decision.+

15 “‘And as for the Levitical priests,+ the sons of Zaʹdok,+ who took care of the obligation of my sanctuary when the sons of Israel wandered away from me,+ they themselves will come near to me to minister to me, and they must stand before me+ to present to me fat+ and the blood,’+ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.

6 My people will certainly be silenced, because there is no knowledge.+ Because the knowledge is what you yourself have rejected,+ I shall also reject you from serving as a priest to me;+ and [because] you keep forgetting the law of your God,*+ I shall forget your sons, even I.+

7 For the lips of a priest are the ones that should keep knowledge, and [the] law is what people should seek from his mouth;+ for he is the messenger* of Jehovah of armies.+
