17 and Jehovah’s anger does blaze against YOU, and he does shut up the heavens so that no rain will occur+ and the ground will not give its produce and YOU have to perish speedily from off the good land that Jehovah is giving YOU.+

35 “When heaven is shut up so that no rain occurs,+ because they kept sinning+ against you, and they actually pray toward this place+ and laud your name, and from their sin they turn back, because you kept afflicting them,+

6 And I shall set it as a thing destroyed.+ It will not be pruned, nor will it be hoed.+ And it must come up with the thornbush and weeds;+ and upon the clouds I shall lay a command to keep from precipitating any rain upon it.+
