16 And the [group of] twelve that he formed were Simon, to whom he also gave the surname Peter,+

13 But when it became day he called his disciples to him and chose from among them twelve, whom he also named apostles:+

13 So, when they had entered, they went up into the upper chamber,+ where they were staying, Peter as well as John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bar·tholʹo·mew and Matthew, James [the son] of Al·phaeʹus and Simon the zealous one,* and Judas [the son] of James.+
