10 Then, also, many will be stumbled+ and will betray one another and will hate one another.+

17 Yet they have no root in themselves, but they continue for a time; then as soon as tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, they are stumbled.+

13 Those upon the rock-mass are the ones who, when they hear it, receive the word with joy, but these have no root; they believe for a season, but in a season of testing they fall away.+

15 You know this, that all the men in* the [district of] Asia+ have turned away from me.+ Phy·gelʹus and Her·mogʹe·nes are of that number.
